Your pet can receive a 3 yr. rabies vaccine ONLY if you have proof of the current rabies vaccine and it cannot be expired, even 1 day. Proof will be required! Rabies tag is NOT considered proof. You CAN do a 1 year at anytime.
We will not vaccinate any pet at our mobile vaccine clinic that has had a previous vaccine reaction.
Should a vaccine reaction occur, we have the necessities to stabilize the animal until you arrive at emergency medical treatment center. If you are in doubt whether your pet has had a vaccine reaction, please contact our office to discuss your pets’ needs.
Please remember that if you wait more than 4 weeks between sets you must re-vaccinate!
The first rabies vaccine is given at 4 months old. The first heartworm test for dogs is done at 6 months old.
